THE CHALLENGE
The Challenges Facing School Pools Today
High bather loads, chloramines, chemical handling and ageing equipment can affect students, staff, budgets and day-to-day operation.
Swimming Environment
Strong chemical odours, irritated eyes, dry skin and discomfort can distract students from learning and enjoying the water. A gentler swimming environment helps students feel more comfortable, confident and ready to participate.
Chemical usage, storage and handling
Reducing reliance on traditional pool chemicals means less frequent handling, storage and transportation helping create a simpler, safer pool environment for school staff and students.
How Enviroswim helps
The ES3 combines three complementary treatment processes to reduce reliance on conventional chemicals while supporting clear, sanitary water.
WHY ENVIROSWIM BENEFITS THE WHOLE SCHOOL
Better for swimmers, staff and the facility budget
✓ A gentler swimming experience
Reduce strong chlorine odour and support greater comfort for eyes, skin and hair.
✓ Reduced chemical handling
Lower reliance on traditional pool chemicals and simplify onsite storage and handling.
✓ Existing-plant integration
Assess and upgrade established filtration infrastructure without unnecessary replacement.
✓ Lower ongoing costs
Explore opportunities to reduce consumables, maintenance demands and energy use.
✓ Australian support
Work directly with an experienced local team for assessment, installation and support.
✓ Funding-ready planning
Receive a clear, site-specific recommendation and quotation for internal approval.
THREE-PART PROTECTION
One system. Three layers of protection
Enviroswim combines multiple processes in one sanitation system that can integrate into new or existing plant rooms.
01 — Ionisation
As water passes over the electrodes, the process of electrolysis releases copper and silver ions into the water. The silver ions destroy bacteria and copper ions destroy algae. The ions remain in the water acting as a residual sanitiser.
02 — Electronic oxidation
As water passes through the plates, the process of electrolysis ruptures oxygen embedded in the water releasing it to oxidise water contaminants such as oil, body fats and pathogens.
03 — Ultrasonic treatment
As water passes through the chamber, high frequency sound waves destroy biofilm that protects microbiological organisms, and prevents calcium and silica particles adhering. i.e. scale build-up.
Scientific evidence you can view and trust
Confidence built on independent testing
School decision-makers deserve more than marketing claims. Enviroswim’s system is supported by independent microbiological performance testing and recognised certification.
- NSF/ANSI 50: Independent system certification
- Tweed Laboratory: Microbiological efficacy testing
- Australian-made: Local manufacturing and support
- APVMA No. 58847: Australian regulatory approval
MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION
Seven questions every school should ask
Open each question to see what your project team should consider.
1. What independent microbiological evidence supports the sanitation system?
Ask for testing that covers the complete treatment system—not only an individual chemical or component. Enviroswim can provide its relevant NSF and Tweed Laboratory evidence for review.
2. Will it integrate with the existing plant room?
A site assessment should identify which pumps, filters and controls can remain and what must change. Enviroswim is designed to integrate with existing filtration systems.
3. What chemicals will still need to be stored and handled?
Request a list of chemicals, expected usage and handling procedures under your pool’s operating conditions, not only idealised claims.
4. What must be considered for an indoor pool?
Indoor facilities require consideration of bather load, ventilation, combined chlorine, plant-room design and applicable operating requirements.
5. What are the real operating conditions?
Pool volume alone is not enough. Usage, temperature, filtration, turnover, environment and bather load all influence an appropriate treatment recommendation.
6. Who services the system and how quickly is support available?
Confirm local technical support, operator training, maintenance responsibilities and expected response times before committing.
7. What are the true ongoing costs?
Compare chemical use, consumables, servicing, energy, equipment life and staff time over several years not just the purchase price.
