Today we decided to bring you some fun facts about the health benefits of swimming.

Swimming is one of the most popular sports in Australia and is a healthy, low cost activity that all the family can enjoy which has many physical and mental health benefits.

Recreational swimming is a great activity for people of all ages and provides a low impact workout. Most find it relaxing and a good way to relieve stress.

Competitive swimming on the other hand, offers a high intensity workout while providing a thrill of competition.

Some of the health benefits of swimming include:
