Q: What is the EnviroSwim System?
The EnviroSwim System is a complete Pool Water Sanitation System that removes the requirement for chlorine in Domestic and Commercial swimming pools.
The EnviroSwim System:

Q: Is it a new technology?
Yes, the ES3 system is a world leader with patent pending in Australia, USA, Europe and Asia. The patent for NZ has been issued. The individual process are well documented and proven.
Q: How safe is the water when I use the EnviroSwim System?
The EnviroSwim System has been evaluated against the New Zealand Standard for Pool Water Quality (NZS 5826:2000) as well as the Queensland and New South Wales Department of Health guidelines.
Q: Does EnviroSwim come with a warranty?
Yes. For your peace of mind, the EnviroSwim System has a 3 year warranty. This includes email and phone support for the duration of the warranty period.
Q: What consumable items do I need?
The EnviroSwim System's only consumables are the metal electrodes, which need to be replaced on average once every twelve to eighteen months.
Q: Do I need to test for the silver-ion level?
Whenever the Copper-ion level is correct, the Silver-ion level will be in range also. The electrodes are an alloy mix of Copper and Silver, so the right proportions are always being released at the same time. The amount of copper ion that dissipates in the water can be controlled via the control unit
Q: Can the EnviroSwim System be used in commercial swimming pools?
Yes, the EnviroSwim System is used in Commercial Swimming pools, Aquatic Centres, Swim Schools and Resort Pools. Commercial systems are designed individually and made to order. Contact us if would like a quote.
Q: Can I speak to a person who has the EnviroSwim system
to get their opinion?
Yes you can. Contact us and we will make necessary arrangements.
Q: Isn't this like a Saltwater Chlorinator?
Absolutely not. While it may look like one from the outside, inside, it is a totally different technology which is chlorine free. Your saltwater chlorinator still produces chlorine.
Q: Is this really a chemical free
system?
Almost. Technically copper and silver ions are chemicals. You will still need to adjust your PH now and then though this task is much easier now because our system is PH neutral. No other input of traditional chemicals such as chlorines, algaecides etc. is required.
Q: The EnviroSwim systems looks expensive compared to other systems!
EnviroSwim has a higher capital cost but lower operating cost. Over 3-5 years, the cost works out to about the same as other systems. Our warranty matches or exceeds those of other systems – and you get the benefit of a chemical free eco friendly system.
Q: Will copper and silver stain my pool?
Only at levels in excess of 1ppm. We are targeting 0.25-0.4ppm for ES3 operation. It is possible to exceed the recommended levels if the system is unattended for some time (>1 month) and not set appropriately. Copper/Silver staining can be removed with nitric acid and causes no permanent damage
Q: My pool
builder does not recommend this system
Initially sceptical, pool builders in Queensland and now New Zealand and the US are embracing the EnviroSwim system. It is easy to install, simple to commission and unlike salt and chlorine the EnviroSwim System will not damage pool surfaces or equipment if operated outside of specification. Q: I am currently using
another system. Do I have to get a whole new pump and filter system or can this be
retrofitted to my existing setup?
Our system can be easily retrofitted to existing pools. We do not need to replace your pump/filter etc. A comprehensive installation guide is available which will enable you to do the installation yourself or we can fit it on your behalf for a nominal fee. We have Auckland based staff who have been involved in the global development of the product and are available to assist with installation and support questions.
